The Best Halal Japanese Grill — Hibachi & Sushi

A cute place for Hibachi and sushi / sashimi, and its Halal ❤️ couldn't ask for more. Loved our order… Definitely recommend! I recommend Yellow tail 💛 & steak hibachi plates.

I wasn't expecting the best sushi I have ever had. If you love sushi, you know it's about the RICE… I tried 3 different sushi items and I just couldn't wrap my head around how good it was… I am so happy I found this place and can't wait to return.

The halal focus is a major highlight, making this spot accessible and inclusive while still maintaining bold flavors and traditional hibachi techniques. Service is efficient and friendly… Portion sizes are extremely generous, especially for the hibachi dishes, offering great value for the price.

Amazing food. We have Hibachi filet Mignon + Shrimp plate. Delicious, filled with wonderful flavor. The server was kind and caring! Lovely team that takes care of the guests!! Worth coming back to Monterey, CA just for this restaurant.

The food was very good, and the taste was excellent. We asked them to prepare the meat in a specific way, and they made it exactly as we requested. Their service was outstanding, especially Mr. Joe… I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Visited Wakatobi Restaurant recently and honestly such a hidden gem for Japanese food… For sushi, we tried several specialty rolls and everything tasted incredibly fresh. The fish quality stood out immediately… One thing that really stood out was the staff. Everyone was extremely kind, attentive, and welcoming throughout the visit.

Everything on the menu is halal, and we were able to work with the waiter to make sure allergens were substituted out… The food was high quality and delicious. The gyoza was delightfully crispy… The yakisoba and fried rice were perfectly stir-fried and flavorful… Such a wonderful restaurant run by muslim owners, will recommend to everyone.

The food was fresh and full of flavor, and there were plenty of vegetarian options too, which was a big plus for us… The ambience is nice and family-friendly, perfect for a casual dinner or celebration… Overall, a really enjoyable dining experience — would definitely recommend and visit again
